Our brochures are here, and they are beautiful!  They have been distributed to all participating businesseses, so be sure to pick yours up soon.  The brochure lists all of the participating businesses and artists and includes an insert with a summary of all of the events and performances this weekend.  And as always, you can get more information about the event at our website, www.andersonville.org/artsweekend.

In my five years working in Andersonville, there have been quite a few resourceful entrepreneurs who have opening businesses on the northern end of Andersonville.  For those of you who only go north of Bryn Mawr to have brunch at M. Henry, there are several businesses who are participating in Andersonville Arts & Home Weekend that you must check out.

Yesterday we took a look at the businesses south of Foster who are participating in Andersonville Arts & Home Weekend, October 2-4.  Today we turn our attention to the west to look at those businesses that may be a little off the beaten path (aka not right on Clark Street between Foster and Balmoral) but are totally worth the incredibly short walk.

Andersonville’s western boundary is Ravenswood, and if you head in that direction along Balmoral you will quickly come across four great businesses that are not to be missed during Andersonville Arts & Home Weekend.  After the jump we take a look at these four and what they will be doing this weekend.

Some people think that Andersonville is only on Clark Street between Foster and Balmoral.  However those people are missing the chance to visit some truly extraordinary businesses who also call Andersonville home.  Andersonville Arts & Home Weekend is a great excuse to take a walk south, west and north and see what these businesses are up to and become one of those ‘in the know’ about Andersonville’s off the beaten path gems.
